The purpose of the Learning Disability Partnership Board (LDPB) is to bring together people with learning disabilities, their family members and professionals across key public services to ensure a joined up approach to developing and implementing the local Learning Disability Strategy.
The board is chaired by Councillor Billy Sheerin.
The board meets every other month for 2 hours and receives reports from professionals in adult social care, health, housing and education. Standing items include: family member issues, self advocate issues, service provider issues, safeguarding and reports from the following sub groups:
