Phoenix Nights character Clinton Baptiste returns to Middleton in 2020

29 November 2019

Clinton Baptiste.

A character made famous by classic television sitcom Phoenix Nights will be returning to Middleton Arena in spring 2020 after his sold out show in October 2019.

The man of mystery and spooky powers, well known to fans of Peter Kay's celebrated Channel 4 show Phoenix Nights has added an extra Middleton date to his extended tour, bringing his live show -  'The Paranormalist Returns', back to the arena on Thursday, 28 May 2020.

You are promised an hilarious yet touching journey through Clinton's life, out the other side and beyond the celestial curtains!!

The tour, which has already sold out at venues across the UK in 2019 comes 18 years after Clinton, played by actor and comedian Alex Lowe, first appeared in Phoenix Nights, set in a Lancashire social club. More recently, he starred in a sold out 15 night run of Phoenix Nights Live at Manchester Arena in 2015, which raised £5 million for Comic Relief.

A spokesman for the tour said: "Clinton will give readings to the audience, offering advice from beyond the grave. He will predict your future, tell you about your past and all manner of spooky stuff an' that.  But more, he'll take you through his demise, his comeback and finally…on this special night, he will attempt to pass over to the other side and return, before the arena want you all out….with the answer!"

Clinton Baptiste – 'The Paranormalist Returns', visits Middleton Arena at 7.30pm on Thursday, 28 May 2020. Tickets are £18 each.
