The Tier 3 Localised Restrictions Support Grant is for businesses who had to remain closed from 2 December 2020 when the national lockdown ended.
You're eligible for this grant if your business was open on Thursday, 22 October 2020 but was forced to close on Friday, 23 October 2020 due to local COVID alert level: very high (Tier 3) restriction and had to remain closed from 2 December 2020 when the national lockdown ended.
The businesses eligible for this grant are:
- Hospitality settings including pubs, bars, restaurants and cafes
- Accommodation such as hotels, B&Bs, Campsites and guesthouses (excluding those that are used by people as their main residence)
- Indoor entertainment and tourist venues which include Indoor play centres including soft play and trampoline, Bingo Halls, Bowling Alleys, Amusement Arcades, Cinemas, Theatres and Concert Halls, Snooker Halls
How to claim
You do not need to apply for this grant. We've identified which businesses qualify based on the categories above and made grant payments to those that have been paid the National Localised Restrictions Support Grant (Closed).
If you haven't applied for the Tier 3 Localised Restrictions Support Grant (Closed), we can't process any of the other grants for closed businesses for you.
What you'll get
The amount of money you'll receive depends on the rateable value of your property.
The payment is for the 14 days from 2 December to 15 December 2020. If the borough remains in tier 3 for 2 more weeks from 16 December 2020, we will make another payment to you.

How you're paid
The Tier 3 Localised Restrictions Support Grant will be paid into your bank or building society account.
We aim to make a payment within 7 working days. If we need any additional information, we'll contact you. You'll receive an email when we've processed your payment.
