Where and when are the walking groups?

You can join a walking group at:

  • Littleborough Library - every Tuesday, 10am-12noon
  • Milnrow Library - every Monday, 10am-12noon
  • Spotland Library - every Thursday, 10am-12noon. The walking group at Spotland Library won't be held on Thursday, 27 February 2020. This is because Spotland Library will be closed on this day while we carry out some essential maintenance. The group will meet again as usual from Thursday, 5 March 2020. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Who can join a walking group?

All abilities are welcome to join our walking group. The group never take on challenging hikes, just light strolls and short walks.

What will I do at a walking group?

At the start of each meeting, you'll discuss some different routes and decide where you'd like to walk that day.

Then you can head out together to complete the walk at your own pace before meeting back at the library.

Why join a walking group?

Walking is a great way to get fit and explore what's on your doorstep.

You'll also be able to make new friends and find out more about your local community.
