Activities at the centre
There's a warm welcome to mums, dads, grandparents and carers with children aged 0-5 years as well as childminders and those who look after children. Families who attend Derby Street recently asked for more advice about safety and the centre provided a 5 week course including safety at home and whilst out and about.
Typical sessions include:
- A wide variety of fun play and learn sessions.
- Health professionals are on hand for advice and support within baby clinic, ante-natal sessions, breastfeeding support, baby massage, speech and language groups, health and safety advice.
- Parenting support, job centre, citizen's advice and advice on training and seeking employment.
Fun, family friendly activities throughout the week can be found on the full timetable of activities.
